Siblings : Frederick jnr adamantly told Heather Laycock in 1985 that there were only two offspring of Henry & Fanny - his own father (Frederick snr) and William. But in this profile, we have taken it that Henry & Fanny had seven children, including Frederick. And Margaret was the mother of William. |

* F Saltmarsh, HA McBain, 3 Moars (W, WD & MA) and 3 McLeans (A, MA & HL) are listed among 137 original selectors of Yanipy and Lawloit (p20).
* The Yanipy school commenced in 1884. After 12 months, there were over 50 scholars - including three Saltmarsh children (p9).
* "In 1884 the coach used to go along the main road, and the Yanipy Post Office was at Mr Rich's house, now owned by F Saltmarsh" (p9).
* Mr Saltmarsh was the first chairman of a Sheep Dip Company when a dip was built in 1904 (p15)
