Donald GORDON, d. About 1870 |
| Mother |
Elizabeth ('Eliza') GORDON, b. 11 Jul 1834, Contin, Scotland, UK |
| Wedding |
We have the interesting situation where Elizabeth married someone with the same Gordon surname - and this is what her mother did. That is, two generations of Elizabeth Gordon marrying a Mr Gordon. This might not indicate in-breeding as Gordon was possibly a common surname in that area even though it was Munro and McKenzie country. |
