Ian was born on 8th July 1931 in SA. He was the second son of Doris and Ralph Wilson.
He went to school at Glen Osmond Primary and Unly High School.
The family lived at 19 Alma Rd Fullarton.
He married Marie Ann Morris on 5th March 1955.
They lived for over 50 years in Stathcona Ave Clapham.
He studied accountancy and worked as an accountant at LT Ewens & Co, then Shepparton Partners. He founded his own company Ian S Wilson & Co.
His interests included reading, cricket, tennis, football and football umpiring.
He was lay pastor for nine years at Holden Hill Christian and then five years at Happy Valley Baptist.
He helped public schools with education school governance.
He was involved in the Baptist Union of SA and ran the organizing of the Franklin Graham crusades.
He received the Order Of Australia.
Marie and Ian had five children - Vanessa, Serena, Lyndon, Daniel and Matthew - and, to date, five grandchildren.

After the marriage they set up home at Alma St Fullarton Estate

* Ian Sidney was born 8th July 1931
In later years Ralph and Doris moved to 51 Hawson Ave Plympton. [1] |
